The atmosphere around Shellbrook is much different that around Prince Albert for some reason. It seems wilder, more off the beaten path. We drove part way to Spiritwood (What a name!) and then to Blaine Lake before returning to Saskatoon. A couple of years ago we drove for ages around this area looking for the Crooked Wood. Finally found it.
