I was painting with mum. First we had a gourmet meal at the hotel and then we found the perfect calm spot on the beach with a picnic bench far from the madding crowd. I painted this little painting fairly quickly. The boats are just gestures. Someone came up to me and asked how many days it took to paint that and then walked off. I wondered if they had a bet with someone. 5 days...no 1 day...
